Trending Scandal: UNIOSUN Lecturer in Trouble over Sex with a Student

A lecturer at the Department of Languages and Linguistics of the Osun State University, Ikire Campus, Dr. Wale Ojoniyi1, is currently in trouble following the release of a video tape of his alleged sex escapade with a 400 level English student of the institution, Mercy Ikwue. The student, who released the over 30-minute video clip, recorded it in a hotel room. Although some claimed the lecturer raped the student, real sexual intercourse was not captured in the video. Why We Decide to Embark on Strike – Lagos BRT Workers

Commuters were stranded, yesterday, when Lagos Bus Rapid Transport, BRT’s drivers and ticketers on the Ikorodu-CMS route went on strike over unpaid salaries and unfavourable condition of service. The BRT scheme, operated by Primero Transport Services Ltd., began operation in November 2015 and has 434 buses on its fleet; and more than 2,000 staff. Residents living in number 10 Thomas Street of Owode Elede in Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area of Lagos have been asked to vacate the building due to imminent collapse.
